It all started in Brazil. Instead of choosing big cities like Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, Syreal went 5 years living in smaller towns and villages in Bahia, a state known for its deep connection to African roots. This brought her closer to her own core and to the essence of life. In these villages, time seemed to stand still: no elaborate highways, only cobblestone roads. Houses were built with a clay technique that stays wonderfully cool in summer. Here, Syreal met Indigenous healers whose massage techniques had been passed down for generations. They lived in profound harmony with nature, used it for healing, and listened closely to what the body revealed about emotions and mental states.

Activity: Today, Syreal blends all that wisdom into her beautiful space on her birth island of Curaçao, where she offers massages, Zen sessions, and a sacred sauna.

• Massages – Her massages are never one-size-fits-all; each person receives what their body needs. Syreal views physical aches differently, knowing they often arise from deeper causes like buried emotions or thought patterns. Even in a “regular” massage, she intuitively senses where your body needs attention, and in a Zen session, she explores the underlying issues more fully.
• Zen sessions – Ideal for anyone determined to reach the root of their discomfort, these sessions can be confronting but ultimately healing. They combine a guided meditation that helps you go deep within with a massage that eases physical tension. You leave with practical tools to break the patterns that caused your pain.
• Temazcal (sacred sauna) – You can also join a Temazcal ceremony, held in a clay hut symbolizing the mother’s womb, on select dates.
